The use of apple skin as an interchangeable external membrane opens the object to a wide range of possible color variations. This feature allows Anemone to adapt to different interiors, moods and visual identities, while maintaining the same structural base. The replaceable skin also extends the product’s aesthetic flexibility, turning the lamp into a customizable object rather than a fixed lighting element.

Anemone is composed of a metal structure that supports an external perforated mask made of apple skin, a plant-based leather alternative. The contrast between the rigid aluminum frame and the flexible organic cover defines the identity of the lamp.

The intensity of the light can be adjusted by rotating the leather cover. This simple mechanical gesture allows the user to control the amount of light emitted by the lamp without relying only on electronic dimming systems.
